Meet Heather
Heather Rasowsky, Charlotte's Bar & Bat Mitzvah planner
The planner behind some of Charlotte's most talked-about celebrations, and a Mitzvah mom herself.

It's our mitzvah to make your mitzvah memorable
Heather Rasowsky founded Razzle Dazzle Event Planning to do one thing beautifully: Bar and Bat Mitzvahs in Charlotte, NC. She keeps families at a steady, happy pace, covers every detail so the process never gets overwhelming, and sees the full picture long before anyone else does.
Her event story started in Houston in 2015, designing florals for showers, galas and celebrations, before her family moved to Charlotte. She is a former college gymnast, which is why a gymnastics-themed Bat Mitzvah was a dream assignment, and she is a Mitzvah mom herself: she planned her own son Adley's Bar Mitzvah, so she knows exactly what families are going through.
Her favorite kind of partner is one who says "yes, and...". That is how a luncheon becomes a showstopper, how a snowstorm becomes Winter in Paris, and how an empty ballroom at Temple Beth El becomes New York City for a night.
"My most, most favorite part of Bar/Bat Mitzvah planning is 100% the people I get to meet and work with."

How Heather works
- Dream. A first conversation about your child, your family, your shul and your date. Themes, venues and a realistic picture of budget.
- Build the team. Venue, DJ and entertainment, lighting, balloons and florals, photographer and videographer, catering, photo booths, swag. Heather brings the vendors she trusts together as one team.
- Design the room. Entrance, dance floor, tablescapes, candle lighting, sign-in, the details guests remember.
- Run the weekend. One calm timeline for the service, the luncheon, Shabbat dinner and the party, with Heather on the floor on the day.
Heather also co-hosts The Mitzvah Showcase with ATG Entertainment, Charlotte's Mitzvah vendor party, held every January.
